Here at Nail-ology we believe in using quality products and one of the best waxes on the market! These waxing products are a real skincare treatment, packed with botanical ingredients which are free from chemicals, caring for the skin and helping to prevent and cure ingrown hairs, as well as a calming effect to give you smooth beautiful skin.

We use both Strip Wax, and Non Strip Wax (peelable / hot wax) for more sensitive areas.
It doesn’t matter if it’s your first Bikini Wax or if you are a Hollywood Wax devotee, we will make your Waxing experience as comfortable as possible using the best wax available.
A professional salon waxing can leave your skin feeling smooth and hair-free and, as long as you prepare your skin before your waxing, the results could last for weeks. For some women, having their sensitive regions waxed can be uncomfortable, even painful. Thankfully, there are ways that you can reduce the amount of pain and discomfort you will feel.

Preparation – before your wax treatment
Please read this part thoroughly for a more comfortable waxing experience and to reduce your chances of having irritated skin afterwards
Exfoliate before your wax and arrive clean & fresh. Fresh wipes will be available for you, so if you’re popping by on your lunch break or coming straight from work, you’ll be able to freshen up. You will need 3-4 weeks growth or 5mm of hair for successful thorough treatment.
Do not Shave – If you shave before your waxing treatment, the hair will not be long enough for the wax to adhere to. Minimum 3 weeks growth … think grain of rice length
Do not Drink Alcohol Before Your Wax – whilst drinking alcohol before your wax might seem like a good idea to help reduce the amount of pain you may feel, the alcohol can thin your blood making your skin even more sensitive.
Do not Wear Tight Clothes – wearing tight clothing to your waxing appointment will irritate your skin post-wax. Loose fitting cotton pants are more comfortable post-wax, so choose something that will give your skin some room to breathe.
Don’t Buy Ineffective Skincare Products- when selecting post-wax skin care products, be sure to purchase products that are high quality and that use a wide range of all-natural botanical ingredients. This will ensure that your skin will get the best possible nourishment so it can heal faster.

What EXACTLY do we wax with each Bikini style?

Regular Bikini
Side of Knickers and Crease of leg. That’s it. Demure and ladylike. (This wax does not include underneath, the butt cheeks or butt crack).
High Bikini / Californian
All hair is removed from pubic line, high up on the sides of the knicker line, crease of leg and tidy up of the outer labia and butt crack.
A Brazilian
ALL hair removed from the underneath, inner and outer labia, butt crack. The top (the pubic mound) will be left with a small strip at the front. It’s exactly the same as a Hollywood only you’re left with a landing strip.
The Hollywood
When you have a Hollywood Wax ALL pubic hair is removed from front to back, inside out including your butt crack! Same as the Brazilian but no landing strip ! I may have you in various positions to gain easy access to the area/s being waxed, and you may be asked to provide some assistance for stretching. It’s not embarrassing (OK maybe the first time) but its over with quickly.
I also include the butt cheeks in a Hollywood whilst we wax the butt crack. Whether the entire butt is covered in hair or it’s patchy, it’s coming off and I’m not charging extra! After all who wants to be told they have a hairy bottom?!
The hair from the front is also removed and most importantly from underneath. There are plenty of Salons out there that will just take the hair out of your pubic mound only, The hair should be removed from the inner and outer labia. Inner labia doesn’t grow hair it just grows inwards from the outer labia. It’s this hair that I have had experience of being left in the past.
The Butt Crack
What you see is what you get with this one, its literally just the inner butt crack, covering over the peri anal area (the anus and perenium).
Optional add on’s include the butt cheeks, inner thighs or backs of thighs.
Half Butt Cheeks – hair on the lower part of your bum cheeks, the bit that sticks out of the bottom of high knickers when you’re sun bathing and your knickers go up your bum.
Full Butt Cheeks – the full bum cheeks, top to bottom, hip to hip, excluding the crack.
Inner Thighs – removes hair from the inner thigh area which extends beyond past the bikini line, removing any hair down to the inner knee.
Backs of Thighs – removes hair from the top of the back of thighs, down the backs of knees.
